Silverback Music and Dubshotta Records have announced a label collaboration to support the legendary Sly and Robbie and Roots Radics Grammy nominated reggae album “The Final Battle”, featuring special guests Lee “Scratch” Perry, Ken Boothe, Horace Andy, Mykal Rose, The Mighty Diamonds, Luciano, Toots Hibbert, Max Romeo, Pablo Moses, Freddie McGregor, The Congos, Brinsley Forde.
Sly & Robbie are simply one of the most legendary rhythm sections, not just in reggae, but of all time, in any genre. We’ve crossed paths over the years, on tours and shows with other Silverback Music/Controlled Substance bands and became extended family over the years. It’s a true honor for Controlled Substance Sound Labs, the label entity of Silverback Music, to finally collaborate on a GRAMMY nominated studio endeavor with these legends of Jamaican music through our new partnership with DubShot Records for limited editions of this record -The Final Battle!
